Who is responsible
Open Voice Agent Ltd is responsible for the Open Voice Agent website's use of cookies and similar storage/access technologies. Contact team@openvoiceagent.com with questions or to exercise a privacy choice. Our privacy notice explains our personal-data purposes, providers, overseas processing and your rights.
What cookies and similar technologies do
Cookies and browser storage can keep a requested sign-in secure, remember a choice or support an embedded feature. The rules also cover technologies such as localStorage, identifiers and fingerprinting; a technology's name does not decide whether permission is needed.

| Technology/function | Purpose and handling |
|---|---|
| Open Voice Agent account/session storage, including the authentication cookie named __session | Authenticate and protect the account session you request. The ordinary session lasts up to seven days and can renew while you use the application. Sign-out, expiry or earlier access revocation ends the applicable access. The cookie is limited to the application host rather than shared across all Open Voice Agent subdomains. |
| Optional measurement-choice storage, ova.measurement-choice.v1 | Remember your measurement preference. The recorded choice is treated as expired after 180 days; the browser item can remain until removed or replaced. It is not permission for another purpose. |
| Enabled AI assistant | Provide the external feature you choose. Provider processing, device access and any required choice are explained before the relevant feature starts. AI text/voice recording has its own entry notice. |
Personal information collected through a form or conversation is addressed in the privacy notice as well as these device storage rules.
Necessary functions and optional choices
We do not ask for cookie consent merely because a technology exists. Storage/access strictly necessary for a service you request can be exempt. The exception applies to that necessary purpose; it does not permit unrelated analytics or advertising.
Non-exempt analytics, advertising and tracking wait for the required consent. Where we ask for optional measurement permission, you can decline it and change that choice later. Refusing optional measurement does not itself prevent use of requested core functions or enrol you in promotion.
A qualifying statistical exception can cover aggregate service-improvement measurement, with clear information and a simple free objection. It cannot cover advertising, individual session replay or retained identifiable browsing histories. Individual information used for aggregation is retained only as necessary to create the aggregate results. An appearance/functionality exception has its own conditions, including information and a free objection; it is not general marketing permission.
Embeds, voice and your controls
An AI assistant can involve its named external providers. Loading an embed can disclose network/browser information even before you submit a form. Necessary feature access and optional tracking are assessed separately. Clicking a widget's Continue button acknowledges its AI/processing/recording notice; it is not blanket cookie consent or acceptance of a service/provider contract. Browser microphone permission is also separate.
Social-media embeds, advertising tags and similar tools follow these purpose-based rules. A link to our social profile is different from loading that platform's embedded content on this website. The advertising choice information identifies providers, purposes and relevant technologies before optional advertising tools start. You can refuse or withdraw the optional choice without losing the requested core service. Server-side delivery or a hashed identifier does not by itself remove applicable privacy requirements.
Use the choices shown for the enabled feature to change optional permissions or object where an exception requires that option. You can also remove browser cookies/storage using browser controls; removing necessary items can end sign-in or reset preferences. Contact us if you cannot use the available privacy controls.
